With many years of experience in the field of behavioral health, I have worked with all types of individuals, ages, and issues. I have seen many who, at first, try to struggle alone through difficulties, and then do not see the outcome they had hoped for. At that point, the need for seeking help becomes very apparent.

I do not specialize in one type of treatment method but use an eclectic approach and look to you to lead the way.  My three goals are to listen to what brought you to my office, what you are experiencing, and then work together to plan a way to make things better.

I have a B.S. in Psychology, an M.A. in Christian Counseling (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist), and a Ph.D. in Psychology.  Those years of study and the required professional continuing education have given me a broad base of knowledge.

I know what it is to experience a perinatal mood or anxiety disorder, both personally and in my family. Due to those experiences, I have understanding and compassion for your experiences. Perinatal mood and anxiety disorders are underrecognized and underreported, and my hope is the Postpartum Clinic of Tulsa is helping to change that.
